The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) offers various immigration pathways for immigrants to arrive in Canada. This program allows skilled workers and recent graduates to move to Canada. There are various streams to apply for the program –

1. Express Entry – Nova Scotia Experience:

Experienced Skilled workers are qualified for this program. Candidates with a minimum of one year experience in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) O, A, or B position are eligible under this category.

Requirements:

• No less than one year of work experience in Nova Scotia. 
• Be in the age group of 21 to 55 years. 
• Canadian secondary school graduate or same. 
• Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for gifted work in NOC 0 and A, CLB 5 for NOC B occupations. 
• Register a profile in the national government Canada Express Entry pool.

2. Express Entry – Nova Scotia Labor Market Priorities:

This stream targets the jobs for Letter of Interest with Primary Teachers as the important occupation.

Requirements:

• Get a Letter of Interest through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program. 
• Meet the basic work experience necessities of the Express Entry stream for which you have qualified. 
• Show adequate funds to effectively set up a good foundation for yourself and your family in Nova Scotia and to pay your immigration expenses and travel costs. 
• Have lawful status in your native country. 
• Meet qualification measures set up at the time, you are given a Letter of Interest.

3. Physicians:

This stream assists the provincial health system to hire general practitioners, family and specialist doctors.

Requirements:

• Legal status in native country: If you live in Canada, you must provide proof of legal status as a temporary worker or visitor. When outside Canada, legal status in the country of residence. If the status is lost, apply after the status is restored.
• Job offer which is signed by the official authorities of the provincial health department.
• Proof of education and practice should be shown as well.
• Ability to perform in one of the official languages of Canada.

4. Skilled worker:

This stream deals with skilled workers and international graduates. After getting the positive LMIA report, employers can apply for this program.

Requirements: 

• Full-time permanent job for employment from a Nova Scotia boss. 
• Something like one year of work experience identified with the work (semi and low-skilled workers should have a half year of involvement). 
• Be in the age range of 21 and 55.
• Least secondary school recognition. 
• Suitable preparing, abilities, and additionally accreditation, whenever required. 
• Language capacity in English or French equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 5 for talented specialists, CLB Level 4 for semi and low-skilled workers. 
• Monetary assets to effectively get comfortable Nova Scotia.

5. Nova Scotia Labor Market Priorities For Physicians: Express Entry

The stream targets two National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes: NOC 3112: Family Physicians and NOC 3111: Specialist Physicians.

Requirements:

• Have a job offer from Nova Scotia Health Authority or the IWK Health Center as either a Family Physician (NOC 3112) or a Specialist Physician (NOC 3111). 
• Resolve to live and work in Nova Scotia for a base time of two years. 
• Get a Letter of Interest from the NSNP through Express Entry. 
• Present your application within 30 schedule days of the issue date of the Letter of Interest. 
• Meet the base work experience prerequisites of the Express Entry-connected program for which you have qualified. 
• Exhibit adequate assets to lay down a good foundation for yourself and your family in Nova Scotia. 
• Have legitimate status in your present nation of home.

6. Entrepreneur:

This targets candidates with business ownership and management experience. They must live in Nova Scotia to start or buy a new business for regular business.

Requirements: 

• Be in the age group of 21 to 55 years.
• Want to live in Nova Scotia by owning or managing a business.
• Least total assets of $600,000. 
• Least venture of $150,000 to set up or buy a business in Nova Scotia. 
• At least 3 years of involvement effectively overseeing and possessing a business (33 percent proprietorship least) OR over 5 years of involvement with a senior business the executive’s job. 
• Score of at least 5 on the Canadian Language Benchmark in talking, tuning in, understanding, and writing in English or French.

7. Occupation in-demand:

This targets the intermediate-skilled jobs in high demand in the province. 

Requirements: 

• Full-time permanent job offer from the employer.
• One year of related job experience.
• You should be in the age range of 21 to 55 years.
• High-school diploma
• Appropriate job training
• CLB level score of at least 4

8. Overseas Graduate Entrepreneur:

This stream is for recent graduates from the university or college of Nova Scotia. The stream works with an Expression of Interest format similar to the Entrepreneur stream.

Requirements:

• Need to live for all time in Nova Scotia while claiming and effectively dealing with a Nova Scotia business. 
• At least one year of constant experience effectively overseeing and claiming your present Nova Scotia business (100% possession). 
• Have finished a degree or recognition including at least 2 scholarly long periods of full-time, face-to-face learning at a Nova Scotia college or the Nova Scotia Community College. 
• Legitimate post-graduation work grant. 
• Least score of 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmark in talking, tuning in, understanding, and writing in English or French.
