Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)

is an immigration program that allows the employers of Atlantic Provinces of Canada to hire immigrants for doing the work. It was being introduced in the year 2017.

Under this, there are 2 programs for skilled workers – 

• Atlantic High-skilled program: Workers must have experience for NOC skill type 0, A, by, or B.
• Atlantic intermediate-skilled program: Workers must have experience for NOC skill type C.
• Atlantic International Graduate Program is a program for international students who possess a diploma or other degree from Canadian Educational Institution.

What are the documents required for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program?

There are several documents required to apply for the AIPP, but we have given a list of some basic documents which are required by all means – 

• Valid passport
• Test results for language skills (TEF or IELTS)
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Proof of funds
• Medical certificate
• Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
• Legit settlement plan
• Employment letter
• Certificate of Endorsement
• Proof of payment

What is the application process for the AIPP?

1. The candidate is associated with a settlement specialist organization by the business. The said supplier will currently lead a requirements evaluation administration to settle on the settlement intend to be trailed by the up-and-comer and its family.

The processing time for AIPP applications is about 6 months or so. Within the six months of getting the endorsement certificate, the applicant must fill the PR application within this stipulated time. And if in case, the PR Visa gets delayed, the applicant is given a Temporary Work Permit (TWP) for a year.
