The AINP – Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program is focused on people who can fulfill the job market shortages in Alberta. Alberta PNP accepts applications from talented workers through Alberta Opportunity Pathway and Express Entry system. AINP also conducts 2 business immigration pathways – The Farmer Self-Employed and the Overseas Graduate Entrepreneur Pathway.

What are the immigration pathways to apply for the Canada PR Visa through AINP?

AINP or the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program accepts applications from applicants through the following four immigration pathways:

• Alberta Opportunity Pathway
• Express Entry Pathway
• Farmer Self-Employed Pathway
• Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Pathway

How to apply for the Alberta Opportunity Pathway:

Candidates with work Visa and Residency

Qualified applicants must be legitimate Provisional Resident in Canada to work. The legitimate Work Visa should get issued on any of the following:

• Confirmed LMIA – Labor Market Impact Assessment
• Exclusion for LMIA through intra-company transfers, foreign trade accords, Mobilit Francophone, or experience
• Post-graduate Work Visa
• The candidates should be working in a qualified organization.

Underqualified candidates:

• Refugees under evacuation or appeal procedures
• Temporary occupants avoiding Alberta
• Temporary occupants on rebuilding or inferred status

What are the Job Requirements to apply for the Alberta Opportunity Pathway of AINP?

You should have worked for a certified job in Alberta to become qualified for the Alberta Opportunity Pathway. Most of the jobs under NOC – National Occupational Classification Skill levels D, C, B, A, and 0 qualifies for AINP. Alberta doesn’t focus on candidates if their jobs are preset on a particular list dissimilar to other territories in Canada. But, AINP has a rundown of excluded jobs.

What are the Language Requirements for the Alberta Opportunity Pathway?

You must score the least points in the IELTS English and the French language test. This applies to the vast majority of the NOC codes.

The AINP deals with the Self-Employed Farmer Pathway in association with the Agriculture and Forestry Department of Alberta. It focuses on candidates with abilities in farm management and funds for interest in an agrarian business in the area.

What are the prerequisites to apply for the Alberta Self-employed Farmer Pathway?

The candidates of the Self-Employed Farmer Pathway must have:

• Involvement with dealing with a current farm business.
• Work experience and training are important for fostering a good agrarian business in Alberta.
• A Plan of Business for the agrarian business that should be set up in the territory
• Verification that a Financial Institution in Canada is ready to finance the proposed business.

How to apply for the Canada PR Visa through the AINP Entrepreneur pathway?
