Citizenship Test
The Citizenship test is taken by the permanent residents of many countries such as the USA, Australia, etc. who are there for at least 3 years or more. Generally, in these tests, the interviewer asks questions about the geography, politics, and the general customs of the country. It consists of two tests - the English test (Reading, Writing and Speaking) and the Civics test. Basically, the test is conducted so that the candidate’s knowledge and interest in the country can be determined. On the basis of the scores from this test, it is determined by the government immigration officials that you are eligible to avail the citizenship of the country or not. The officials have the sole responsibility and control over the decision.
In the Civics test, the investigation officer asks generally 10 questions in the interview. The questions are generally subjective and you should answer at least 6 questions correctly to pass the test. The questions are chosen randomly by the immigration officer and the candidates can frame the answers in any way they want to. So, you must plan and prepare according to the pattern of the test. You should know that if you have good grasp of knowledge about the country, then you are going to clear the test as well.
